INTRODUCING THE TEAM
A love and appreciation for creativity is behind our willingness to showcase the diversity of artworks in all its forms.
Contributing members of the African Collection team are themselves artists.
They provide years of insight and knowledge to the decision making process of choosing the high quality pieces that are showcased here for you.
We go out to the sculpture parks where the local Shona sculptors work and create their individual masterpieces. Deciding on which carvings to choose is no easy task. The skill and creativity of each carver and sculptor is reflected in their magnificent finished carvings.
Each have their own styles and personal interpretations of the stone. Each creates individual and high quality works of art.
The paintings and drawings are drawn from a pool of extremely talented Zimbabwe artists who are all well-known and internationally recognized.
